What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits, such as that you are signed in or which options you chose. Most sites use them, and so do we.
The cookies we use
- Essential cookies. These make the site and platform work, for example keeping you signed in and keeping your session secure. The site cannot run properly without them, so they are always on.
- Preference cookies. These remember choices you make, such as settings you picked, so you do not have to set them again.
- Analytics cookies. We use Google tools to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. This helps us improve it. These run only with your consent.
We do not use cookies to sell data
We do not use cookies to sell your data or to build advertising profiles of you. We use them to run the service and to see how the site is used, nothing more.
How to control or refuse cookies
You are in charge of cookies. You can block or delete them through your browser settings, and you can set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all explain how. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may stop working as expected.
Third parties
Some cookies are set by the third-party tools we use, such as Google analytics tools and our payment providers. Those providers set and read their own cookies under their own privacy terms. We only work with providers we need to run the service.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the site and the tools we use change. When we do, we will update the date at the top.
